The cost is £3.50 per trail, which includes an Easter trail sheet, bunny ears, and a chocolate egg (please note standard admission fee also applies).

Easter Quest at Framlingham Castle, Framlingham

Dates: 28 March – 19 April 2026

This Easter holiday, make your way to Framlingham Castle for an exciting Easter Quest! Follow the Easter trail, search for eggs, and answer questions along the journey to receive a tasty chocolate reward. The quest is available daily during the school holidays and costs only £2 per child for both members and non-members (please be aware that this is in addition to the admission fee).

Concerteenies: The Duck with No Luck, Snape Maltings

Family Wildlife Walks with RSPB Minsmere Reserve (walk located at Snape Maltings)

Dates: 31 March & 7 April 2026

Children’s Wild Wire Workshop, Carlton Marshes Nature Reserve

Dates: 3 April 2026 (two sessions)

This Easter, immerse yourself in a new skill at Carlton Marshes with local wildlife artist, Paul Green. Craft your own wire insects and flowers, perfect for children aged 5 and older. All necessary materials will be supplied. The workshop will take place indoors, but it may also feature a brief nature walk to draw inspiration from any butterflies present in the reserve. Therefore, please ensure you wear appropriate clothing for the weather during the walk.

Open Afternoon at Steamworks, Southwold

Date: 5 April 2026

This open day begins at 1pm this Easter Sunday. visitors are welcome to come along and explore the old Southwold Railway, which is located off Blyth Road in Southwold. There will be guided tours of the site plus the shop and café will be open.

Easter Family Fun at The Red House, Aldeburgh

Dates: 8 & 9 April 2026

An exciting day filled with storytelling, musical crafts, and an audio Easter egg hunt is happening at The Red House in Aldeburgh this Easter holiday. Craft Your Own Chocolate Bars at Harris & James, Beccles

Dates: Various dates throughout March & April 2026

Enter the chocolate factory at Harris & James and dive into a fun, hands-on chocolate-making journey. During this 25-minute experience, you will craft three custom chocolate bars. This activity is suitable for children aged 10 and above, or those under 10 when accompanied by an adult. There is a fee of £3.50 for an additional person to cover PPE and tastings.

Southwold Lighthouse Tour with Adnams

Dates: Various dates throughout March & April 2026

Experience stunning vistas of Southwold and its surroundings from what is arguably the most famous landmark in Southwold – the Lighthouse! This fantastic tour lasts for one hour, and afterward, you’ll get a discount to use at the Adnams store. Children are welcome on the tour, but they need to be at least 7 years old and meet the height requirements.

Easter Egg Making Workshop at Harris & James, Beccles

Dates: 30 March – 3 April 2026

This workshop is an ideal choice for all chocolate enthusiasts! Join the team at Harris & James this Easter and decorate three chocolate eggs under the guidance of a skilled chocolatier. This event is open to both adults and children aged 5 and up. Please be aware that a supervision fee of £3.50 is required to cover PPE and tastings, which is payable upon arrival.

Truffle Making Experience at Harris & James, Beccles
