The cottage was tidy, and in pretty good order. It was local to the shops and the beach and made walking around Southwold very easy. It had good parking provision, and was a good base for our short visit to the town. We went to Southwold with a 5 month year old baby, Durrants were very helpful as a company and helped to source us the travel cot at very short notice when a miscommunication occurred with Airbnb regarding our hire. They worked quickly and were very accommodating, were very polite, and incredibly gracious! We enjoyed our stay,
Great location and as described. Would stay again.
Excellent location- right by town short walk to beach, 15mins to harbour.. Opposite common - great to walk or sit with a drink and watch the sunset. Parking space - would be difficult to park otherwise. Very much home from home type of place. Very comfy beds and lovely linen. Downstairs loo - great for my elderly mum.
Having a delegated parking space was very useful. The position of the cottage is extremely good. Close to the shops , pubs and lovely walks directly from the cottage.
It’s a nice cottage in a good position, overlooking the common & close to the beach & town. The main bedroom is comfortable with good views
Had a fantastic stay in this quirky/cosy cottage, very close to Town Centre and beach. Accommodation was as described and a lovely, relaxing break was had by us both. Would highly recommend this cottage to anyone visiting Southwold and would definitely stay here on our next visit.
Cosy cottage, all essentials, ideal for couple on long weekend. Very convenient for Southwold centre but still private, avoiding crowds. Own parking space useful on busy times. All very convenient for relaxing break.
