A charming three storey townhouse in a desirable location with lovely views over Southwold's South Green.

Full Description

Full of character and charm and steeped in history, Coign is part of a three storey townhouse in a much favoured position with splendid views across South Green. Situated on Constitution Hill, Coign gives guests the perfect holiday base for exploring all desired areas Southwold has to offer.

Coign offers a wealth of accommodation with a choice of two reception rooms as well as a kitchen diner. The country style kitchen provides you with everything you will need for dining together with loved ones. The first floor makes the ideal retreat for the adults with the master bedroom and newly fitted shower room, whilst the second floor is a great hideaway for the kids.

For those with a love of walking, there are plenty of pathways and places to explore from Coign. Why not head across Ferry Road towards Southwold Harbour and take in the incredible sights of the colourful fisherman’s boats and beyond the waters to Walberswick? You can also purchase the catch of the day from the Sole Bay Fish Company, or enjoy some of the best fish ‘n’ chips on offer at Mrs T’s. For cyclists there’s a handy bridge which takes you across to Walberswick, or in the summer months leave the bicycles behind and take the charming foot ferry.

Whether you want to spend your days lazing on the blue-flag beach, enjoying the beautiful scenery or indulging in a spot of retail therapy, Coign is a great holiday choice.

The front garden is the perfect place to sit out and enjoy views of Southwold's historic Gun Hill and its famous cannons.

We have always loved Southwold. This house is a wonderful haven and so perfectly presented with everything you need.
We had a lovely Christmas here, first for 30 years without our grown up children.
We loved the house. The decor was well suited and the kitchen well equipped it felt very welcoming.
A really gorgeous place to stay.
We have stayed at Coign previously and love the location. With the refurb of the bathroom and upgrading certain elelemtns of the front room it is even better than before. Would definitely re-book and well done to the owner.
The location is exceptional and overall the house was lovely.
Great location, lovely to be in the heart of Southwold. Overall lovely and clean. Good choice.
We love the house and have stayed twice before. The sitting room is a lovely cosy room and the kitchen was great for family meals.
