A newly refurbished and well-equipped dog-friendly holiday cottage just off Pier Avenue, one of Southwold’s most popular residential areas.

Recently refurbished by the owner, Albany Cottage offers bright, modern holiday accommodation ideal for a family. With a cool palette of grey and white throughout there’s a real sense of calm throughout this cosy cottage.

The lounge is equipped with an electric fire, perfect for cooler evenings, a smart TV and smart speaker. There’s ample seating to snuggle up to watch a good film or take some time to read a good book. The kitchen is compact, but very well equipped. Appliances include a dishwasher and washing machine and all the pots, pans and gadgets you could need to rustle up some delicious meals during your stay are provided. There’s a folding table that opens to seat everyone, but on sunnier days you may prefer to dine al fresco to really make the most of your stay.

Upstairs, there are three good-sized bedrooms; a double, a twin and a single. Each bedroom offers a comfortable bed/s, with hotel-style white bed linen, plenty of wardrobe space and drawers. The single and twin bedrooms both have views of the back garden.

Outside, there’s plenty of space for relaxing in the fresh air. There’s a large lawn and with patio, complete with dining table and chairs. The garden is fully enclosed, ideal for letting your four-legged friend run around and explore. There’s also a small courtyard to the front of the property.

Location was perfect. Clean and homely cottage. Lovely decor and comforting to see safety with fire safety and fire doors etc. well equipped and perfect for a family holiday. Lovely enclosed garden for dog and family. Comfy beds and lovely shower. Really lovely cottage and loved our stay.

A lovely house, immaculately presented. I can’t fault it in any way. And the beds were very comfortable. The only reason we would not return is that the toilet and bathroom are in the ground floor.

Very well equipped cottage, in an excellent location. The beds were comfortable and towels were provided. Southwold has many good pubs, restaurants and Cafés, so we had some lovely meals. We enjoyed the beach and the sea and visited Walberswick. Southwold Church is impressive and Southwold Museum has many interesting and historical items.

This cottage is ideally situated, not too far to walk anywhere. A lovely light well equipped cottage.

The property was renovated to an excellent standard. We loved the touch of the toiletries and the biscuits/tea/coffee on arrival. The cleaning was to a high standard. Plenty of towels and bedding was of a high quality. Couldn't have asked for anything more in the kitchen. Don't think I have ever stayed anywhere that was so full of kitchen equipment. It was handy to have the washing machine. The location was excellent and loved being able to walk down to the beach and into Southwold. The T.V channels available to us were amazing and gave us plenty of choice on what to watch.

Very good quality holiday property, lots of room, bright, airy and very comfortable. Lovely roof top views from the back of the property which looks out towards the beach and sea.

Lovely quiet road and newly refurbished holiday home. Slept 5, although 4 of us. Fitted out to a very high specification. 5 mins walk to the beach and pretty much anywhere in town. Kitchen well fitted and supplied. Communications with agent was fantastic and super easy to pick up key out of hours and find the property. Was really pleased with it and would definitely stay there again.
