Tucked away in secluded spot off Victoria Street, Stern Cottage is a hidden gem. This cosy holiday cottage is ideal for a couple or family looking for a quiet retreat in Suffolk’s popular coastal town of Southwold.
The cottage has a truly homely feel, with cosy sitting room opening out to a large conservatory with dining table and chairs. This leads out to a secluded courtyard garden, perfect for al fresco dining, morning coffee or evening drinks. The kitchen is compact but cleverly designed to accommodate every appliance and gadget you could need during your stay, including a slimline dishwasher and washer-dryer.
Upstairs are two good-sized bedrooms, a double and a twin, both with ample clothes storage. The shower room is upstairs and boasts a large walk-in shower cubicle, basin and WC. There’s also a convenient WC on the ground floor.
Stern Cottage is an utterly charming bolthole, much loved by its owners. It’s a house where many a family have made special holiday memories over the years.

Kitchen; Equipped with four ring gas hob, double gas oven, fridge-freezer, slimline dishwasher, two-slice toaster, kettle, microwave, washer-dryer.
Stairs leading to first floor
Bedroom One; Double bed, bedside shelves, chest of drawers and wardrobe.
Shower Room; Large walk-in shower with electric shower, WC, basin, shaver socket.
Bedroom Two; Two single beds with central bedside drawers and lamp, wardrobe.

Courtyard; with dining table and four chairs, plus bench.

The stairs at Stern Cottage are quite steep but there is a hand rail and the staircase is straight. Headroom is restricted on the stairs, so taller guests should take care.
