If you’re searching for a comfortable and stylish holiday home with plenty of living space in a central location, Spindrift could be just for you. This fabulous four-storey townhouse, located on Southwold High Street, just next to the Post Office, is particularly popular with families with older children who like their own space, or groups of adults looking for a practical base from which to explore the Suffolk Coast.

The house enjoys glorious views from front and back. From the front guests can enjoy watching the hustle and bustle of the High Street while from the back, in particular from the top floor, the panoramic views that stretch along the coastline towards Sizewell are truly spectacular.

The layout of this popular holiday home is incredibly practical. The large entrance hall and utility area on the ground floor is perfect for storing beach equipment, walking shoes etc allowing you to keep the rest of the house clutter free and comfortable. The first floor is the hub of the home. The large well-equipped kitchen is perfect for sociable cooking thanks to the dining table and bench where spectators can watch and chat while the ‘chef of the day’ cooks up a feast. The lounge/diner on this floor is spacious yet homely with large windows overlooking the High Street – it’s a people-watcher’s paradise.

The second floor is home to all three bedrooms at Spindrift, a double, a twin and a single that has a pull-out bed which can be converted to a comfortable double. All bedrooms have drawers and hanging storage.

The third floor is where you’ll see Southwold in a whole new way. The view from here is quite magnificent from the Sacred Heart church, across the Common to the harbour and out towards Walberswick, Dunwich and beyond. Come rain or shine, hour upon hour can be enjoyed from here just taking in the Suffolk landscape and its ever-changing skies. If you ever get bored of the view, there’s also a 50inch Smart television, DVD player, table football and toy box here! The WiFi here is super fast too, and the mobile signal is excellent.

Bedroom Three: Single bed with pullout option to become a double bed (please notify us at the time of booking if the pullout bed is required), chest of drawers, hanging storage.

Lounge/Games Room: Sofas and chairs, Large TV, DVD, table football, toy box.

Outside
Courtyard: Small paved garden with coal BBQ, bench, table and chairs.

NEED TO KNOW
There is no private parking at Spindrift, although there is a 30-minute parking area outside the Post Office perfect for luggage drop-off/pick-up.
A travel cot and booster seat are available on request. Please let us know at time of booking.
Although the staircases at Spindrift are wide and not steep, due to the number of stairs, this property is not suitable for those with mobility issues.
Dogs are not permitted at Spindrift.
