Pilot Cottage is a beautiful and deceptively spacious cottage located in the heart of Southwold, only a short stroll to the beach and the popular Lord Nelson Inn. This pet-friendly cottage benefits from much sought-after off-road parking and comes with bundles of traditional cottage charm.

The cosy sitting room is the ideal place to relax and unwind with original brick fireplace housing the woodburning stove. This large room offers guests plenty of space and seating to curl up with a good book or a glass of wine and relax by the glow of the fire. The room has been extended with a large television in the garden side of the room with French doors opening onto the impressive paved courtyard garden – a real suntrap and hidden oasis.

The modern kitchen and dining area is a lovely space for entertaining. Decorated in neutral grey tones, this wonderfully bright space is equipped with everything you could desire for self-catering. The dining area also boasts patio doors which lead out onto the garden.

All bedrooms of Pilot Cottage reside on the first floor of the cottage with the master bedroom having the added benefit of an En-Suite shower and plenty of storage for clothes. There are a further two double bedrooms one of which also has another En-Suite and one bunk bedded room, great for family or friends holidaying together with little ones. The contemporary family bathroom has a bath with electric shower.

The owners of Pilot Cottage have gone the extra mile to ensure guests feel at home in this wonderful cottage with a great selection of family games and reading material, perfect for keeping the family amused when the weather isn’t so pleasant!

Pilot Cottage is in lovely spot just off the main High Street with its abundance of gift shops, bakeries, restaurants and boutiques. Just a short stroll away takes you to the seafront with its iconic candy-coloured beach huts and popular food outlets such as Harris and James gelato ice creams and fish ‘n’ chips are within a stone’s throw from the cottage.

GROUND FLOOR
Sitting Room: Large U-shaped area with plenty of soft seating, brick fireplace with woodburning stove, Roberts digital radio with docking station, large Smart TV with access to Netflix and Amazon Prime, cupboard with books and games, French doors into the garden.
Kitchen/Dining Area: Eye-level double electric oven, ceramic hob, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, Belfast sink, dining table and chairs, French doors into garden.
Cloakroom: Washbasin and WC.
Garden: Large enclosed courtyard garden with garden furniture, a lovely spot for enjoying the sunshine.

FIRST FLOOR
Master Bedroom: Double bed, large wardrobe and En-Suite Shower Room with shower cubicle, washbasin and WC.
Bedroom 2 (accessed by separate internal staircase off the dining area): Double bed and En-Suite Shower Room with shower cubicle, washbasin and WC.
Bedroom 3: Double bed.
Bedroom 4: Bunk beds (suitable for children 12 years old and under due to the height of the sloping ceiling).
Bathroom: Bath with over-bath shower, washbasin and WC.

All bed linen and towels are provided.
The property has gas central heating.
One well-behaved dog is welcome.
There is one private parking space at the rear of the cottage.
Please note due to the age of the cottage there is a low ceiling at entrance to kitchen.
Please bring your own logs if you wish to use the woodburning stove.
