Where luxury resides. Contemporary and bespoke, this wonderful Southwold holiday cottage can be found in a quiet location just a stone’s throw from the picturesque Church.

With beautiful shades of greys and white with stone and wood textures, Millie's Cottage is truly enchanting from the moment you enter through the front door. The beautiful sitting room makes the most wonderful haven for relaxing in. Sumptuous seating and a fluffy carpet underfoot, the focal woodburning stove in the chimney breast takes the chill off cooler days.

The sitting room leads into the bespoke kitchen and dining area featuring handmade kitchen units and pew style bench seating around the dining table. The dining corner overlooks the garden area which has a fabulous cabin seating up to ten guests. There is also a handy shower room on the ground floor with white tiles and an industrial-style bathroom washbasin and quirky tap. Upstairs the two bedrooms maintain the high standard of design with the twin bedroom offering an en-suite facility.

Millie's Cottage is in a great location for all of Southwold’s must-see locations. A pleasant walk leads you to the beach and a quick route via St Edmunds Church leads you to the centre of the High Street. If you’re bringing little ones with you, the popular children’s play area is just a few yards away from the cottage. This holiday home is pet-friendly too, accepting one well-behaved dog.

Open Plan Room with Sitting Area: TV, chimney breast with woodburning stove. Kitchen/Dining Area: Bespoke, hand-built kitchen with double electric oven and gas hob, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, butler-style basin, dining table, pew-style bench seating and dining chairs.
Shower Room: Walk-in shower cubicle, washbasin and WC.
Garden: Lovely enclosed rear garden with handmade cabin seating plenty of guests.

FIRST FLOOR
Master Bedroom: King size bed.
Bedroom 2: Twin beds and En-Suite Bathroom with bath and over-bath rainfall shower, washbasin and WC.

One well-behaved dog is welcome at this property. Please be aware that pets are not permitted upstairs or on the furniture.
There is no parking with the property however there is on-street parking along St Edmunds Road and Field Stile Road.
Please note that there is a shared pathway at the back of the property before the entrance to the garden.

We had a really wonderful time during our stay in Southwold, Millie's cottage was so beautifully decorated and cozy with everything you could possibly need provided. The location was perfect and the town and beach were a 5 minute walk away. Southwold was beautiful with lots of lovely shops and cosy pubs and restaurants service all kinds of food. The log fire was very easy to use and the decor inside the cottage was just lovely. Would highly highly recommend to anyone looking to visit Southwold.

We had such a lovely stay at Millie’s Cottage! It’s beautifully decorated and looks exactly like the photos. It’s really well equipped, we had everything we needed. Great location, close to the shops and beach and we parked right outside. It’s not quiet, but that’s to be expected from a terraced property. We would definitely book again!

Beautiful cottage feel and well located to access the beach, pier, walks and shops. Well thought out design and felt very homely.

The property was close to all amenities and had a lot of character and personnel touch. It was also a pleasant gesture to leave condiments and tea coffee etc for our use, it shows those renting the property understand how we sometimes forget the little things when travelling away on holiday. We absolutely loved Millie’s cottage. We stayed there for a week and spent Christmas Day there too. It had everything we needed to enjoy a wonderful week and was so cosy. Great location into town and a lovely outdoor space which I think would be a great space to use in the summer. A perfect holiday cottage, we loved it!

Gorgeous cottage, great location

Surprisingly spacious and very cosy and comfortable for a family of four. Lovely big master bedroom and kids’ twin room - comfortable beds and lots of space. Very clever hanging storage! We had a boiler issue on arrival and the amazing Paula came out late at night to fix it - she was brilliant, friendly and so helpful. She also helped us by phone when we couldn’t find the lighter for the oven (it was in the sitting room by the stove) AND provided us with non-feather pillows to accommodate a member of our party’s feather allergy. She was just wonderful! We would book with Durrants again simply on the basis that she was so helpful and lovely!

A tastefully decorated and well organised individual terraced cottage with a superb long garden at the back which is fully enclosed by fencing. Lots of quirky talking points, one of the nicest and most individual properties I have ever stayed in. Spacious, light and airy. Open plan ground floor is a real benefit: the living space is flexible and makes the most of the many large windows. Plenty of on street parking and a stone's throw from several village greens, a playground and the famous Southwold church. Charming, quirky and interesting kitted out with every little thing you might need so that you can relax from the moment you enter the front door. All the appliances are top quality and the showers are amazing. Smart TV with Netflix and other streaming services means if the weather isn't good there is plenty of family entertainment available if you don't want to read or do puzzles. Equally close to the high street and the beach making it very accessible and conveniently located. Durrants are local property experts who are professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Their choice of unique holiday lets is the best in the market. They provide a personal and friendly service from their main office in the area they service, meaning you don't have to deal with a faceless, impersonal website.
