Longshore is a charming cottage, providing the perfect base for a small family or two couples wanting to stay in the heart of town. Lovingly furnished with unique details and colourful decorative touches, the owners have created a calm and cosy coastal home-from-home for guests to enjoy.

Small and perfectly formed, Longshore has everything you might need for your stay in Southwold. The cottage has the town quite literally on its doorstep, with the Lord Nelson pub next door, the beach a few steps beyond, and the delights of Southwold High Street a short stroll in the opposite direction.

The living area has a deep, comfy corner sofa – perfect to enjoy film nights or relax after long days exploring. The stylish picture frame TV has all the programmes you might need, alongside a cupboard of board games and cards for when you’re feeling competitive.

The light and bright kitchen diner is fully equipped with everything you need to whip up delicious meals and is a wonderful space for entertaining. The double doors lead straight out onto a pretty enclosed courtyard with a BBQ and seating area for alfresco dinner, or to enjoy your morning coffee in the sun.

The bedrooms at Longshore have been thoughtfully arranged and decorated. The main bedroom has a king-size bed with a large wardrobe and even benefits from a sink and vanity. Built in bunk beds provide a fun way for children to stay in style – each with a bedside light, USB/C connection and wireless charger. There is a further bedroom with king-size bed and a handy set of drawers that convert to a fold out desk space for homeworking or study.

The owners of Longshore have gone the extra mile to ensure guests feel comfortable and at home in this wonderful cottage. With a basket of beach games and towels in the entrance hall, to wind breaks and body boards stored in the shed for seaside fun.

GROUND FLOOR

Entrance room - coat hooks, bench seat and shoe storage. Basket of beach toys.

Living room – large corner sofa, coffee table with storage, side tables, electric fire, smart TV. Cupboard with clothes airer and hoover.

Open plan kitchen/dining room – electric 4 ring hob and oven. Butler sink, full size fridge freezer, 4 slice toaster, kettle. Dishwasher, washing machine. Cupboard with cleaning supplies, clothes steamer, laundry basket. Dining table with two chairs and two bench seats. Digital radio with Bluetooth speaker.

Downstairs WC and sink.

FIRST FLOOR

Bedroom One – king size bed, bedside tables, wardrobe, sink and vanity. Built in single bunk beds, bedside lamps, USB/C connection points, wireless device charging points.

Bedroom Two – King size bed, bedside tables, set of drawers (top converts to desk space), chair.

Bathroom – bath with overhead electric shower, WC, sink vanity, towel radiator.

OUTSIDE

Garden: Enclosed courtyard with potted plants, table and 6 chairs, BBQ. Shed with windbreak, body boards.

Parking: There is free on street parking along North Parade and the surrounding residential areas a few minute’s walk away.

NEED TO KNOW

The Lord Nelson pub is next door to the property.

This property has two steep staircases that may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues.
