Full Description

A Note from the Owners
"Eastholme is our ‘home away from home’ on the Suffolk coast. We have been coming to Southwold since our daughters were little, more than 20 years ago. We are delighted to have been able to buy and completely refurbish Eastholme. We hope you enjoy both our home and Southwold as much as we do."

Eastholme sits in the middle of a row of seven delightful Victorian terraced cottages overlooking Tibby’s Green and St. Edmunds Church. This lovely cottage has been completely renovated and extended making it a luxurious home in the heart of Southwold. Exceptionally cosy and well fitted out, Eastholme has a large sitting / dining with double doors through to a large open plan eat in / kitchen with separate utility area and shower room to the rear. Upstairs there are three double bedrooms plus a family bathroom.

The cottage is ideally located only a short walk from the beach and the High Street with its boutique shops, cafés and restaurants. Even closer across the road is Tibby’s Green playground, and a few yards further is the Adnams Cellar and Kitchen store - a Southwold institution with its wealth of wines, ales and spirits to buy and a lovely café restaurant. Perfect to pick up a bottle or two of something special to enjoy with lunch in Eastholme’s pretty rear garden – a real suntrap from Spring to Autumn.

The property has been beautifully renovated to a high standard and is exceptionally well equipped. It is centrally located close to the high street, beach and playground so ideal for families.
Great homely spotless cottage overlooking the green and church. Perfect pad for enjoying all parts of the town with easy access to seafront, town centre and common. Happily return !
House was lovely, location, cleanliness, and layout was great.
Outstanding stay in southwold made better by a beautiful cottage like this. Perfect for our family of 4, more than enough space and a lovely garden as well! Location is awesome. Right on the doorstep of the town, but easy walk/drive to the pier, harbour. Durrants were superb as hosts on a number of questions and we would return for sure!
Fantastic location and perfect for families.
We had a great stay, the location was ideal, easy to park and the house had everything we needed.
Absolutely beautiful victorian cottage in the heart of Southwold. Easy walk to shops, beach . Plenty restaurants and amenities. The cottage was modern and beautifully furnished. Always warm even when heating was off. Beds and bedding very comfortable. All kitchen items you could ask for. I will definitely return to the cottage and Southwold as it’s a lovely destination. The location was peaceful opposite the church with plenty of on street parking.
A beautiful, comfortable 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home. I'm from the USA, so appreciated 2 bathrooms. Walking distance to the beach, lovely view of the church from the front of the house. It was October, but the attractive garden
The house was great! A real Wow when entering for the first time, and it maintained that impression for the duration of our stay
Loved staying at Eastholme. Everything was perfect for us and everything was so well thought out. Lots of sitting areas in the beautifully kept garden, comfy chairs in the sitting room and a very well equipped kitchen.

We had a lovely stay. The house was beautiful and spacious. The location was perfect. We are very much considering booking it again
