This delightful three-bedroom holiday home in the heart of Walberswick offers, style, space, convenience and character and is ideal for two couples or a family.

Full Description

Buntings is a warm, inviting and character-filled family home, tucked away in a peaceful cul-de-sac in the charming village of Walberswick. With a central location, private driveway parking, a spacious kitchen diner and the village store on the corner, this holiday home offers a practical base from which to enjoy the delights of Walberswick, Southwold and beyond.

There’s plenty of sociable space at Buntings. The kitchen/diner is arguably the heart of the home, with its vintage dining table and chairs, lounge chairs and bi-fold doors leading out to the garden. There’s also a cosy sitting room with feature fireplace, Smart TV and a large selection of books, DVDs and CDs. If that’s not enough, there’s a further snug/music room with comfortable sofa and piano. All the living rooms are filled with light thanks to large windows/doors overlooking the garden. You’ll also find a shower room and WC on the ground floor.

Upstairs are three comfortable bedrooms plus the family bathroom. The zip and link bed in the second bedroom, which can be either a kingsize bed or two 3 foot singles, means this house will work well for for a family or two couples.

Outside there’s a pretty, landscaped garden to the front, with driveway parking for one car. The back garden is a lovely quiet spot, mostly laid to lawn and with a patio and dining table and chairs – ideal for losing yourself in a good book, enjoying a morning coffee, or dining al fresco. There’s a coal barbecue too.

The owners of Buntings have put a great deal of care into their guests’ enjoyment. The house is beautifully presented and offers all the comforts and utilities you could need during your stay.

ACCOMMODATION

Entrance hallway leads to;

Kitchen/Diner; Electric Rangemaster with 5-ring hob and two ovens, fridge freezer, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, Dining table and chairs, bifold doors to garden.

Music Room; Sofa, coffee table, piano, bureau, window overlooking the garden.

Lounge; Two comfortable sofas and lounge chairs, coffee table and footstool, feature fireplace, Smart TV, wide selection of bookings, DVDs and CDs. Double doors to the garden.

WC/Shower Room; large shower cubicle with double head shower, WC, basin and heated towel rail.

Upstairs

Bedroom1; Double bed, bedside tables, drawers, wardrobe, bookcase. Large window overlooking garden.

Bedroom 2; Zip and link bed (either kingsize or two small singles), bed side tables, built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers, Smart TV.

Bedroom 3; Single bed, bedside table and lamp, hanging rail, desk and chair.

Family Bathroom; Bath with fixed head shower and glass screen, WC and basin.

Outside

Front landscaped garden with driveway parking for one car

Back Garden – matured, enclosed garden mostly laid to lawn. Decked area with dining table and chairs, plus coal BBQ

Parking is available for one vehicle. Further roadside parking may be available in the Close.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Buntings! Perfect location for nipping to The Anchor and the beach! The house is very well equipped - even having fans in the bedrooms for the hotter days! Would recommend.
The Buntings is a beautifully appointed property with a high spec finish, we were truly impressed. We found the house very relaxing and noted particularly that it was so homely we immediately felt comfortable in it. The house is very close to the local Co-op store and an exceptional deli, both of which provided well for our food requirements. Needless to say we would like a return visit next year.
This was a delightful house in which to spend a week exploring the local countryside. It is clean, spacious, nicely decorated and with comfortable beds. The garden is secluded and well maintained. As we enjoy walking and bird watching, so this was a perfect location for us.
