Full Description

Don’t be fooled by the unassuming façade of this modest red-brick terraced cottage, it conceals a superbly equipped and stylishly furnished, family-friendly holiday home that’s just perfect for a getaway by the sea!

The owner has put great care and attention into preparing this fabulous family home to ensure your stay is comfortable and relaxing. The sitting room is cosy and inviting with a deep blue, velvet sofa and the woodburning stove makes this room toasty-warm during the cooler months. There’s a Smart TV and Bose radio plus a selection of games. The kitchen is well-equipped and there’s plenty of room around the dining table to enjoy family meals. Alternatively, if the weather allows, there’s a dining table and chairs on the patio in the garden.
The family bathroom is also downstairs. It comes with underfloor heating to keep your toes warm, heated towel rail, large bath with a double-headed shower, sink and WC.

Upstairs are two good-sized bedrooms, both with double bed. The first bedroom has plenty of space for a travel cot and brackets on the door for a stair gate. Each room has plenty of storage space in chests of drawers/wardrobes/hanging rails.Outside, there’s a lovely garden, mostly laid to lawn and with a patio area for al fresco dining. The garden is fully enclosed so ideal for the four-legged family members.

Lovely stay, the furnishings are of a high spec throughout, a very comfortable stay
Good location. 5-10min walk to the beach. Had a high chair and cot in the cupboard. Can park on the street outside
Really comfortable beds!
Thank you for allowing us to share your lovely home. The milk, wine and fab shortbread were a lovely touch too. It is almost certainly the cleanest & best equipped holiday let we've stayed in.

Lovely accommodation felt very comfortable for our family stay and they were so helpful sorting out a high chair last minute for us

We had a wonderful, relaxing 4 night stay at this cottage last week. It was in a great location and felt very homely, clean and cosy. All instructions sent before check in were very clear and helpful which meant we did not need any assistance during our stay. As we arrived during bad weather, Durrants contacted us on check in day to say we could access the cottage earlier than planned which was much appreciated. We would recommend this cottage and Durrants to others and would book with them again in the future.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage catered for all our needs, was very clean. Beautiful garden. We will definitely be back
A lovely holiday home, very comfortable and clean. the kitchen is fully equipped. The garden was very well maintained and made sitting out in the garden a lovely relaxing time. The biscuits were also wonderful! We will be back soon
