Christmas Opening Hours 2020

‘Tis the season to be jolly! We’re so excited it’s the seven day countdown to Christmas Day and we are looking forward to welcoming all our holidaymakers to Southwold for the festivities.

Below you will find our Christmas opening hours during the festive period. If you have a holiday booked over Christmas it is really important that you remember to bring a copy of your travel directions letter with you as this is where you will find our out of hours emergency contact number when our office is closed. If you need an additional copy of this correspondence just give us a call on 01502 723292 or send us an email and we will happily provide you with another copy.

On the day of your arrival we recommend you check the weather forecast (in case of any snow!) and ensure you have checked your route for any other travel disruptions such as diversions and road closures as these factors may impact your estimated time of arrival to your holiday cottage. If you think you’re going to be late don’t hesitate to give us a call and we can arrange to have your cottage keys collected from our office keysafe.

Southwold is even more magical at Christmas time with the beautiful lights in the marketplace and festive cheer in the shops. The town council have organised an ‘Elf on the Shelf’ trail to follow – see if you can find all the elves in the shop windows and unlock a secret code! Simply download the My Southwold App to find out more.

We hope you have a fantastic Christmas after what has been a challenging year. Don’t forget that whilst our office may be closed to the public you can always ring and speak to us if you need any assistance with your forthcoming holiday.

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas from us all at Durrants Holiday Cottages!
