  • A very comfortable and well-appointed character cottage, despite it's small size. It's in an excellent area of the charming village of Walberswick with extensive walks available locally; on the beach, marshes and heathland, and with lots of great scenery and wildlife to enjoy. Good food at the local pubs – The Bell, The Harbour and the Anchor – and easy access to other neighbouring villages and towns. The cottage was clean and comfortable with everything we needed – comfortable beds (very quiet at night), pleasantly decorated with plenty of interesting artwork on the walls and a neat, pretty garden to sit out in with a summerhouse at the end. It has a small, clean bathroom with a good shower which provided plenty of hot water. We soon got used the the very steep, narrow staircase and the older door catches and locks. Overall, a great location and enjoyable cottage for a short stay.

  • Great little cottage, perfect for a few nights stop over to explore the local area. All amenities were well appreciated. Staircase not for the feint hearted, but we were well prepared via the blurb sheet.
