Long Barn is a lovely Grade II listed barn conversion carefully created using reclaimed timber. This unique property is cosy and welcoming yet has all the modern conveniences that you require for your holiday. Ideal for couples wanting a romantic retreat or to share with family or friends.

Located in Wrentham, which is a small village just outside of Southwold. The village has two public houses, the Horse & Groom and The Five Bells in walking distance which serves food, a village shop with post office, a fish and chip shop, café and a Chinese take-away. If you like antique’s there is a shop you can browse until your hearts content and tucked away close to the barn you will find a well-stocked wine shop. Covehithe beach is close by along with some excellent walks.

Centrally located, Long Barn has very easy access to Southwold with its glorious beach, the famous Pier with the Boardwalk Restaurant and Under the Pier show displaying the eccentric world of Tim Hunkins machines Southwold is a must for visitors. You will find something different whilst browsing in the boutique shops and if you want to relax you can always book a therapy treatment in the local salons or pop into one of the lovely cafe's or hotels for afternoon tea. You will always find excellent food and drink in Southwold, mainly thanks to Adnam’s Brewery, local restaurants hotels and public houses. The Summer Theater and Electric Picture Palace are there to entertain you along with the local art galleries, or you may wish to visit during the Arts Festival or Charter Fair,  The Adnams Brewery and Distillery Tour is very enjoyable and for those wishing to be a bit more energetic there is a 18 hole golf course and tennis courts available. There are various events happening throughout the year and Southwold is well worth a visit at any time of the year and all of this can be reached within 10 minutes by car giving you the best of both worlds.

Ground Floor: Long barn is all on one level and comprises of a sitting room with vaulted ceiling, leather chesterfield and chairs, bookcase and occasional tables, television with freeview and DVD player. A fully fitted warm and cosy kitchen /dining room with tables and chairs, Smeg fridge, electric oven and induction hob, washing machine. Bathroom with over bath shower.

Bedroom one is a double bedroom with a has a lovely iron bedstead, wardrobe, bedside tables with lamps and large bedroom stool and carpeting. Bedroom 2 is a twin bedded room, with bedside tables and lamps, a chest of drawers and carpeting.

Bedding: Bed linen and towels are provided (Please bring your own beach towels)

Garden: A private and secluded garden with lawn and flower borders and space to enjoy the good weather and a bottle of wine.

Parking: There is off road parking beside the garden fence at the end of the property.

Pets: Yes; 2 dogs are welcome in the property by prior arrangement. Please bring your own pet bedding and pet towels.

Need to know: With any older property this barn has low ceilings, please remember to duck! There is no Wi-Fi available at the property, however this is available at the two local public houses. Should you require additional accommodation, Coachman's Cottage is very close by and can accommodate a further 3 guests if required. Gas central heating.
