Wood End is a fabulously stylish and luxurious chalet bungalow set on a peaceful rural lane in Reydon, just a short drive from the popular seaside town of Southwold. The owners have lovingly renovated the property over recent years with comfort and practicality in mind. If you’re looking for an indulgent and peaceful escape on the Suffolk Coast, this is it!

This holiday home has the wow factor from the moment you arrive. The exterior is beautifully clad in a coastal blue and there’s ample parking on the driveway for two cars. There’s an entrance porch for off-loading coats and shoes before entering the hallway that leads to a spectacular and lavishly furnished open plan living area which boasts a whole wall of glass doors that overlook the garden and fields beyond.

There are two wonderfully comfortable double en suite bedrooms each with ample wardrobe and drawer space, smart TV and hairdryer - the first double even has a walk-in wardrobe! The en suite shower rooms each have a walk-in shower cubicle with double headed shower, WC, basin and heated towel rail. Meanwhile, in the kitchen you’ll find everything every appliance and utensil you need to prepare delicious meals during your stay, there's even an air fryer. There’s a separate and spacious utility room too.

The luxury doesn’t stop inside. At the back of the bungalow is a large garden with artificial grass lawn and a glorious terrace that wraps the house. There’s a secluded corner of the terrace where you’ll find rattan lounge seating, there’s also a dining table and chairs, plus cushioned lounger chairs stored in the shed. You’ll also find a summer house kitted out with cushioned benches, ideal for forty winks.

Wood End is ideally suited to two couples, but it’s also suitable for families. A travel cot and high chair are available on request. The property is also dog-friendly, welcoming two well-behaved pets. The owners provides dog bowls and covers for the sofas.

Lounge/Dining Room: Large, bright area with two 3-seater sofas, large wall-mounted smart TV (with terrestrial TV), coffee table, stylish electric feature fireplace, large oval-shaped dining table with 4 chairs. Patio doors and side double doors opening to the terrace and garden. Doors have built-in blinds for privacy as well as curtains for comfort.

Kitchen: Well-equipped with high-level double electric oven, induction hob, air fryer, integrated fridge and freezer, full-size dishwasher.

Utility Room: Large sink, washer/dryer, microwave, Tassimo coffee machine.

Bedroom Two: Double bedroom with bedside tables, wall-mounted smart TV (no terrestrial TV), double doors to front of the bungalow, built-in wardrobe, hairdryer.

Shower Room: Large shower cubicle with twin-head shower, basin, WC, heated towel rail, shaver socket.

Outside:

Large terrace with outdoor lounge seating and dining table and chairs. Large artificial grass lawn. Summer house with cushioned benches. Small shed where lounger chairs and cushions are stored. External tap by the utility room door.

A travel cot, high chair and baby bath are included Wood End. Please let us know at time of booking if these are required.

FOR DOGS
Dog bowls, poo bags and blankets to cover the sofa are provided.

NEED TO KNOW
Please take care when driving onto the driveway. The entry is on a steep slope and there is a sharp turn to the flat parking area. There is ample space for two cars to park on the flat area.
Please note that the owners have and alarm and CCTV security cameras at the property.
The upper floor of the property and the garage are not included in the holiday let. These areas will be locked off. If emergency access is required, guests should contact Durrants emergency line.
