The Dolls House Beach Hut, is aptly named and provides a quintessential hut that has everything you could possibly need for a great day at the beach. The Dolls hut is situated in a fabulous position just below The Sailors Reading Room on East Cliff. Complete with sun loungers, table and chairs, glasses, crockery and buckets and spades and calor gas ring.

We love this beach hut and have hired it annually for several years. It is a perfect location and well maintained. Please tell the owner that we really appreciated the new chairs this year. They are very smart and comfortable. Whatever the weather, we enjoy our Southwold holiday because of the beach hut but this year it provided shade from the sun rather than rain. The beach hut is a very important part of our holiday and we have already made a provisional booking for next year.

We have been very impressed with the service from Durrants and that the Dolls House Beach Hut was absolutely wonderful. It’s extremely well equipped and in a fantastic location, which meant that our entire family, including the grandchildren had a perfect holiday.
