Coachman's Cottage is a lovely Georgian mid terraced property set back behind a dwarf brick wall in an elevated position close to the thriving Edwardian town of Southwold. This sweet cottage is ideal for couples who want to escape modern life, although there is a single bedroom with a double bed, against a wall if required. The owners have deliberately not installed Wi-Fi so that when you stay you can have that relaxing break you have been craving. With its original fireplaces, stripped pine doors and traditional cosy and comfortable seating you will feel at home. If this isn't enough, the property has parking and outdoor seating at the rear.
Located in the village of Wrentham which is close to the glorious beach at Covehithe. The village has two public houses, the Horse and Groom and the Five Bells which serve food, a village shop with post office, a fish and chip shop, cafe and a Chinese take-away. If you like antique’s there is a shop you can browse until your hearts content. Tucked away close to the cottage you will find a well-stocked wine shop.
Centrally located, Coachman's Cottage has very easy access to Southwold and its glorious beach, the famous Pier with the Boardwalk Restaurant and Under the Pier show displaying the eccentric world of Tim Hunkins machines. You will find something different whilst browsing in the boutique shops and if you want to relax you can always book a therapy treatment in the local salons. You will always find excellent food and drinks in Southwold mainly thanks to Adnam’s Brewery, local restaurants hotels and public houses. The Summer Theatre and Electric Picture Palace are there to entertain you along with the local art galleries, or you may wish to visit during the Arts Festival or Charter Fair, all of this can be reached within 10 minutes by car. There are various events happening throughout the year and Southwold is well worth a visit.

Garden: The rear of the property has parking and garden seating area for you to enjoy those sunny days plus a small patio area near the house.
Parking: There is a private parking space for one car at the rear of the property.
Pets: Two small dogs are welcome at the property, please bring their own bedding and pet towels with you.
Need to know: As with any traditional Georgian cottage the stairs are steep. They have a banister in place however this cottage may not be suitable for anyone with mobility problems or young children. Should you require additional accommodation, Long Barn is very close by and can accommodate a further 4 guests. Gas Central Heating.
