Reydon Wood
The ancient woodland bordering the village of Reydon near Southwold bursts with birdlife and a spectacular display of bluebells each spring. The circular trail takes in around half the woods and can be walked in around 30 minutes. Expect woodland glades, coppice, and plenty of wildlife depending on the time of year.

Nestled on the outskirts of Reydon, this charming flower farm beckons visitors to wander its vibrant fields, brimming with an array of seasonal blooms. Guests can handpick their own bouquets or floral arrangements, armed with the necessary tools provided by the Southwold Flower Company team. It’s a wonderful activity to do with children: the jam jar arrangements are perfect for little hands, plus dogs on leads are welcome. Carlton Marshes Nature Reserve
Nestled in the Waveney Valley along the Suffolk-Norfolk border, Carlton Marshes is a nature reserve within the Broads National Park cared for by Suffolk Wildlife Trust.
