Walberswick is the quintessential Suffolk Village situated on the heritage coast. This delightful coastal village is a popular holiday destination for those who wish to experience Walberswick's unspoiled dunes, its beach and its charm. You will find tea rooms, restaurants, two public houses, an art gallery, village shop, original crafts and gift shops. Fresh fish can be bought from the harbour huts on the Southwold side of the River Blyth, which may be crossed by pedestrians and cyclists either by the Bailey Bridge or the foot ferry that runs during the summer months.
Orchard Piece is a unique property ideally located down a quiet lane with private garden and parking. It has many unique features such as European style blinds, lovely patio and garden where you can sit under the vine tree growing under the glass canopy. The sitting room stretches from the front to the back of the house so it gives you plenty of room to move around. We are sure that you will enjoy the peace and quiet and yet still be in the heart of the village and near the beach.
Sitting Room: A spacious room with two sofas, chair and occasional tables with Smart TV and Netflix and Wi-Fi. Open fire, which uniquely empties from outside, patio doors which open to the rear garden.
Snug: A restful room overlooking the garden with sofa, side table with lamp and patio doors to the patio garden.
Kitchen/Dining Area: Electric single oven and induction hob, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, dishwasher, Welsh dresser, dining table with bench seating and chairs for 6 guests. Utility/Boot room : Large boot room with washer drier, microwave and water softener. Rotary airer available, which is ideal after being to the beach or returning after a muddy walk.
Shower Room: Walk-in shower, washbasin and wc.
Landing: with two chairs, tv & dvd player and Playstation 4.
Bedroom 1: King size bedroom with en-suite shower room, with walk in shower, wash basin, wc & bidet. Bedroom 2: Twin 2ft 6" beds, bedside table and lamp. Bedroom 3: Twin Bedroom with single beds, wardrobe, bedside tables and lamps.
Bathroom: Bath with over-bath shower, glass screen, washbasin and wc.
Garden: Front garden with shrubs and gravel drive, rear garden with patio table and seating area under the glass canopy and lawn.
Parking: Parking for two cars.
Pets: No pets due to owner allergies.
Heating: Oil - Underfloor heating throughout the property.
Need to know: Linen and towels provided but please bring your own beach towels. Garden is a wrap around garden without a gate at the front of the house. A high Chair and travel cot are available, please bring your own linen for the travel cot. Buckets, spades, windbreak & crabbing lines are stored in the garage. Bicycles can also be stored in the garage.
