How would you like to wake up to the sound of the sea and with the master bedroom, sitting room and dining room having sea views?  If so, this is the cottage for you.  Bay Cottage has been completely and sensitively renovated with a contemporary modern feel whilst keeping its character. Bay Cottage provides a warm and welcoming family holiday home spanning generations and is ready to welcome you to your Southwold Holiday Cottage.   With its beach front accommodation its ideal for those wanting to spend time watching or swimming in the sea or enjoying long walks on the beach or using the many amenities close by.  Bay Cottage is deceptively spacious and well equipped and has everything you need.  Situated right on East Cliff there is a small picket fence between the entrance and the road with the beach access opposite.  The famous pier is only a walk away along the sea front where you will also find the boating lake, mini golf and tea rooms.  The property is also conveniently situated for the High Street with its many boutique shops and great choice in restaurants and cafes. 

Southwold has something for everyone from the Tim Hunkins wacky machines in the Under the Pier Show, a summer theater, tennis courts, an 18 hole golf course, and a great harbour for buying fresh fish. Southwold is also home to Adnams Brewery who run tours throughout the season.  If you have found your sea legs then you may want to take a trip on Voyager or for a more sedate holiday there is still plenty to see such as the Sailors Reading Room, Lifeboat Museum and Southwold Museum and the Amber shop and with its own unique Museum. Whatever makes your perfect holiday Bay Cottage will give you a great base.

A lovely open plan sitting / dining room with patio doors to the sea views, television, hi-fi and wi-fi. There is a small picket fence in front of the patio doors at the front.

A fully equipped kitchen with oven, grill, fridge freezer, microwave and washing machine and breakfast bar.

Bathroom with bath and separate shower, outer cloakroom area with wash basin.

First floor 

Master king size bedroom with glorious sea views, wardrobe and chest of drawers

Double bedroom with zip and link beds making a super king when together and door to the balcony with sea views.  Please inform us of your requirements at the time of booking,

Twin bedroom with full size single beds and chest of drawers

Cloakroom with wash basin and wc.

Linen: Bed linen and towels are provided, please bring your own beach towels.

Garden: Small patio at rear plus a balcony from first floor double bedroom.

Pets: 2 Dogs welcome - if bringing a dog, please remember to bring their own bedding and pet towel.  Pets must be kept on the ground floor please and they are not allowed on the furniture.

Parking: On street parking near by or you can park in either of the towns free car parks on The Common and at the bottom of Lorne Road.

Need to know: Gas central heating.  Families with children and pets need to be aware that there is only a half picket fence at the front door of the property which leads directly onto the road. Children need to take care when leaving the property. Please inform us at the time of booking if you would like a twin or superking in the double bedroom.
